What a diamond in the rough! Great smash burgers the best cooked french fries ever!!!! Their prices during mardi Gras parades were the same as every day. Please go out and support this business, This is what NOLA is suppose to be. More traditional jazz music would have been great (not a fan of explicit lyrics)! The owner very hands on and his staff just awesome hospitality.

Cute little spot right next to the Sheraton off of Canal. Went on a Friday night. Nice vibes with the lights dimmed, the music playing not too loud and the vintage VHS playing on the old school oversized TV. There is an area where you can play console games on the TV. There are some vintage arcade games and some card & board games as well. Now let’s talk about food. I am a food lover but what’s more important is customer service. If you have an amazing product or great food but bad service that’s a zero out of five for me but this place...customer service was great. One couple in front of us was ordering when we entered and he (the staff) was patient while we looked over the menu then answered all of our questions respectfully. The food was amazing too. I mean soooo good. We will definitely visit this place again next time we are in town.

We waited all for the food to come out but the wait was definitely worth it. The food was hot and fresh and seasoned well. Hopefully when I come the next time they won’t be out of the red beans and rice. Try the Lavender Vanilla Lemonade, it is very delicious and refreshing.

Probably the best beignets we had while in New Orleans (and we tried lots of places). Nostalgia serves them piping hot and fresh. Perfectly fluffy. 10/10.

I’m from a small town, so I’ve never seen a place that served coffee AND mixed [alcoholic] drinks. I was there for coffee (they suggested the beignet coffee, but I got it without the shot) but learned they had food too, so I had time to take in the atmosphere. 90s hip hop / r&b vibe, comfortable seating areas, and arcade games make this place my new #1 place to visit in NO. I had a great time vibing with the locals. Owner, his employees, and even his friends were all cool as heck.

I wanted to find a beignet place that wasn't overrated like Cafe Beignet and I stumbled here. Their French Toast Beignet was actually pretty good with the right amount of sweetness. Would choose to go here again

Popped into this hip establishment and had severe flashbacks to elementary school. Neon flashy highlights. Drab wooden metal bolted chairs and tables. Shag carpet seating. Sitting at the arcade is a handful as well! My only critique with the atmosphere was the rolling TV stand—we didn’t have DVD/VHS combo, ma’am.... I checked out at that point, however, and savored the nuance of the day with my oat milk substitution. /Sip/ Solid.

Awesome little coffee shop style cafe with really friendly folks and a great one page menu. It’s a great place to hang out and the menu is an easy on the budget way to take a break from all of the uber-Cajun food. Lots of fun to play the free games while you wait. Nostalgia is a great name since I enjoyed showing all of the arcade games from my childhood to my son.
